SOUND BED THERAPY
A deeply restorative experience through sound and vibration
What is Sound Bed Therapy?
Sound bed therapy is a deeply restorative and immersive experience that can be integrated to enhance any type of session. The sound bed delivers low frequency soundwaves as well as gentle whole body vibrations having profound effects on the nervous system, leading to stress reduction.
During a session with the sound bed you will lie on our comfortable therapy bed while specially designed sound sequences are played. The rich low frequency vibrations are heard and felt through the table. Like a massage of sound, this vibroacustic stimulation releases physical tension and calms the nervous system. The sound bed can be used in a session in tandem with all of our other therapeutic offerings.
Possible Benefits:
Mood enhancer
Improved cognition and mental clarity
Nervous system impact and stress reduction
Can reduce chronic pain
Improved sleep
Beyond this vibroacustic therapies can be a powerful pairing with KAP for integration, or in dedicated session after a full round of KAP sessions has been completed. The sound bed can provide a way back into the KAP experience so that you can get the most from the medicine.
My time with the sound bed allowed me to revisit, in great detail, a KAP session I had years ago. I felt transported, traveling on the waves of sound, seeing what I saw then, and able to freshly process that material at a depth that would have otherwise been elusive to me.

Understanding the power of Vibe Bed Therapy
The Sound Bed uses vibroacoustic technology to create an immersive experience that combines sound with physical vibration.
Rather than simply listening to music, low-frequency sound is transmitted through the bed so that it can be both heard and felt throughout the body. This creates a multi-sensory experience designed to support deep relaxation, body awareness, and a greater sense of connection between mind and body.
The technology used in the V.I.B.E. system combines precisely calibrated sound and vibration to create a full-body sensory experience.
How Does the Sound Bed Work?
While you rest comfortably on the Sound Bed, specialized sound programs play through the system.
Low-frequency vibrations travel through the surface of the bed and into the body, while the sound itself creates an immersive listening experience.
Because the experience engages both hearing and physical sensation, it can offer another way to slow down, move attention away from constant thinking, and reconnect with what is happening in the body.
The Sound Bed can be used as a dedicated experience or incorporated into other therapeutic sessions at True Yang Therapy.
