KETAMINE TREATMENT PROTOCOL & FEES

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Treatment Sessions Protocol

  • KAP Video Consultation/Intake Session

  • (3) Pre-KAP Relational Therapy Sessions (50 min)

  • KAP Lozenge Prep Therapy Sessions (1-3 days prior to lozenge session, 50 min)

  • KAP Lozenge Sessions

  • KAP Lozenge Integration sessions (1-3 days after a lozenge session, 50 min)

Each individual is unique, your KAP treatment may complete after 3-6 KAP cycles and/or you may continue treatment in the “maintenance phase” wherein on-going KAP treatment sessions are offered as needed.

*Fees are paid session by session, not upfront
*Lozenge prescription paid to Koshland Pharmacy ~$100
*Medical Evaluation Video Session paid directly to prescribing doctor: $250-$375/50min
*Sliding scale discounted fees are available to those in financial need. Income verification is often requested to save these spaces for those in need.

*Superbills are available to submit to insurance; services are billed as “out of network psychotherapy”
*All 50 min sessions can be done virtually
*The first 3 lozenge sessions must be 180 minutes, beyond that 120 minute lozenge sessions may be appropriate. Shorter, low-dose ketamine sessions done virtually may also be appropriate and cost effective

INDIVIDUAL/SOMATIC/COUPLES THERAPY FEES

Each True Yang Therapy therapist sets their own fees with each client and will discuss the fees in the consultation

  • Individual Therapy (Standard) Fee:
    $200-$275/50 min session (Fee correlates with therapist years of experience)

  • Individual Therapy (Sliding Scale) Fee:
    $150-$180/50 min session

  • Couples Therapy (Standard) Fee:
    $220-$320/50 min session

COUPLES/DYAD KETAMINE TREATMENT PROTOCOL & FEES

Each couple/dyad can have an organic treatment plan created for their specific needs. Fees can be determined in the KAP consultation based on the treatment plan that would best suit the couple’s needs.

A typical protocol/fee structure for Couples KAP/ Dyad KAP :

Step One
3-5 Initial Prep Couples/Dyad Therapy Sessions - 50min/$250-$320(Fee correlates with therapist years of experience)

Step Two
Each individual participates in an individual KAP Cycle
Each partner experiences the medicine and their individual healing objective in a solo medicine session. A prep session and an integration session is provided. Individual ketamine session fees are applied.

Step Three
Couple/Dyad Ketamine Cycles begin
Prep Session 50min, Couples KAP Session 180min/$1000, Integration Session 50min
A couples therapy prep session 1-3 prior to the couples ketamine medicine session is used to set the intention and the container. An integration session 1-3 days after the medicine session is used to integrate the healing experience into the relationship.
*Treatment plan for couples may include KAP sessions where one person uses the medicine while the other person does not

  • Yes. CareCredit can be used for every step of the KAP protocol, including consultation, preparation, lozenge sessions, and integration. 

  • Yes. Care Credit can be used in the maintenance phase of KAP treatment. If you choose to continue with KAP sessions after the initial cycles, CareCredit is an ongoing payment option. 

  • Yes. Any KAP service that meets the minimum amount of $200 or more is eligible for the promotional deferred interest option. 

  • CareCredit can be used as a payment method for all therapy services, including individual therapy, EMDR therapy, couples therapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP).

  • Yes. Care Credit offers a promotional “No Interest if Paid in Full” or Deferred Interest option where you choose to pay off the full amount within 6, 12, 18, or 24 months on qualifying purchases of $200 or more. This can be a helpful option for spreading out the cost of  KAP sessions.
